Developer Frogwares announced yesterday The Sinking City is now available for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
You have two versions to pick from: the $49.99 standard version and the $64.99 Deluxe Edition, with the latter including the Merciful Madness DLC. Both versions are available on the Microsoft Store and include 4K/60fps support.
Unfortunately, the Xbox Series X and S version is not available as a free upgrade for those who already purchased the Xbox One version. Frogwares is currently in a legal dispute with original publisher Nacon, so the former is listed as the developer and publisher for the Xbox Series X and S version of The Sinking City.
“The Sinking City on previous and current generation of consoles have different IDs and different publishers on record,” said Frogwares in a press release.
Inspired by H. P. Lovecraft’s works, The Sinking City is set in the 1920s and follows private investigator Charles W. Reed. He’s suffering from unexplainable visions and goes to the fictional town of Oakmont to hopefully find some answers.
