Swim Out Splashes Onto Nintendo Switch on March 20

French indie developer Lozange Lab’s turn-based puzzle game Swim Out will be arriving on Nintendo Switch eShop on March 20.

In this game, players control a swimmer who must traverse obstacles in a variety of nautical locations, ranging from beaches to neighborhood pools, to rivers. Swim Out contains over one hundred levels spread out over seven single-player chapters. There are twelve different types of swimmers available to be played as.

To further help the relaxing feel of the game, the developers clearly aimed to give this title a comforting look. This title contains graphics that appear almost to be paper cutouts. It is a smooth, yet simple style that, while not full of expression, certainly is visually pleasing

Swim Out was previously released for $2.99 on mobile devices, however, it will cost $5.99 on the Nintendo Switch eShop release. It has not been revealed if the Switch release will contain additional content or not. The mobile release was a finalist at the 2017 Ping Awards.

The developer, Lozange Lab, was established in 2014 in Metiz, France. Their games are developed by the husband and wife team of Ava and Mat. Their first title, Shuttle Shuffle, was released in 2014.
