Japanese video game developer Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd, more commonly referred to as simply Square Enix, have announced their date and time slots for this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June.
At precisely 11:00 a.m. the official Square Enix Twitter account tweeted out a photo which shows a date of June 10 and a time of 6:00 p.m PST.
Interestingly enough, Square Enix did not unveil any titles they will be covering but according to the tweet Square Enix are ready to “kick off another exciting line up of titles.” What is also interesting is that Square Enix will be taking the time slot that Sony PlayStation has held. This off the heels of PlayStation announcement that they will be forgoing E3 2019 in late 2018.
While little to nothing is known about what games Square Enix will showcase, there is at least one game that Square Enix has in the works. A Final Fantasy VII remake. First shown at PlayStation Experience (PSX) 2015 and a surprise no show from Square Enix’s E3 presentation last year, will we be seeing the beloved JRPG this year around?
Square Enix has now joined fellow developers Bethesda, Microsoft, and Ubisoft as those who have announced their press conferences for E3 2019. Click here for more on E3 2019.
