Earlier today on the PlayStation Blog, Sony announced it will hold a PlayStation 5 event next week.
Scheduled for Wednesday, September 16 at 1:00pm PDT, the event will showcase the upcoming console’s launch titles. It will also showcase games coming after the PlayStation 5 launch, including those from PlayStation Studios and third-party developers.
That said, PlayStation fans are hoping for more than games. Sony has yet to announce the PlayStation 5’s price and launch date, two pieces of information Microsoft has already divulged for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
Rumors peg the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition’s prices as $500 and $400, respectively. Sony confirmed both consoles will launch in Holiday 2020, so odds are they will launch sometime in November.
The PlayStation 5 Showcase will stream on Twitch and YouTube.
