Nintendo Treehouse Live Announced for Tomorrow

It's not a Nintendo Direct, but it's kinda close

On Twitter today, Nintendo of America announced it will hold a Nintendo Treehouse Live event tomorrow, July 10 at 10:00am PDT.

According to the announcement, the event will feature gameplay of the upcoming Paper Mario: The Origami King. The game will be a Nintendo Switch-exclusive and be the first time we see a Paper Mario title for the hybrid console.

Interestingly, the event will also feature gameplay of a new IP from WayForward. The developer is best known for the Shantae series, but it’s also the studio behind 2019’s River City Girls and 2020’s Vitamin Connection.

We’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see what the new game entails. Nintendo Treehouse Live will be streamed on Nintendo’s website and YouTube.
