The PlayStation 5 will be without Kena: Bridge of Spirits this holiday season, as developer Ember Lab announced the game has been delayed.
In a statement released on Twitter, Ember Lab said the delay is partially due to the transition to working from home due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The developer also mentioned “many challenges,” so there might be a few other factors at play.
Because of the delay, Kena: Bridge of Spirits will now launch in the first quarter of 2021. Ember Lab plans to provide updates on the game in the coming months.
Announced during the PlayStation 5 reveal, Kena: Bridge of Spirits will also launch for the PlayStation 4 and PC. You play as Kena, a spirit guide who collects small spirit companions known as the Rot.
