Taking to Twitter, Sony Interactive Entertainment today announced a new release date for upcoming PlayStation VR title Iron Man VR. The good news is we won’t have to wait too much longer.
The game now has a set release date of July 3, the day before the Independence Day holiday in the U.S. SIE was brief in its announcement, only further saying it’ll have “more news in the coming weeks!”

Originally scheduled for a February 28 release, SIE pushed Iron Man VR to May 15. In April, SIE “indefinitely” delayed the title a second time due to the ongoing pandemic and developers working from home.
Iron Man VR is a PlayStation VR-exclusive title. The game’s story will not follow plotlines from any Avengers comic or movie. Instead, Iron Man VR will have an original story.
