Ubisoft’s For Honor Will Jump to Next-Gen in November

No support for 60fps at launch, however

During its Warrior’s Den livestream today, Ubisoft announced For Honor will launch on the Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5 in November.

The game will be available at each console’s launch. This means November 10 for the Xbox Series S/X and November 12 for the PlayStation 5.

Those who own the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version of For Honor will get the next-gen version for free. All of your in-game progress, gear, and cosmetics will transfer over, so long as you stay with the same console brand.

In terms of visuals, For Honor will get improved water reflections, distant detail, shadow resolution, and texture filtering. Ubisoft is targeting 1080p resolution for the Xbox Series S and 4K resolution for both the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

Lastly, For Honor will get support for 60 frames-per-second sometime in December for all three next-gen consoles. We’re unsure why the update won’t be available at launch, but at least it’s coming.
