Fire Pro Wrestling World has gotten a brand new DLC pack based on the Junior Heavyweight Division. Developer Spike Chunsoft has released a trailer, interviewing soon-to-be retired legendary Junior Heavyweight Jushin Thunder Liger.
The DLC adds 13 new wrestlers with some very noteworthy additions for fans of the game. Some of these names include one of the newer members of the Bullet Club and current Junior Heavyweight Champion, Taiji Ishimori, who joins his Bullet Club members (“the good guy Tama Tonga”, Tanga Loa and Bad Luck Fale were already included in the original version). Also being added is the current reigning and defending Never Open Weight champion Will Ospreay, leader of Villain Enterprises and former member of the Bullet Club, Marty Scurll, and Jushin Thunder Liger. Liger is set to retire on January 4th at next year’s Wrestle Kingdom (Japan’s version of Wrestlemania).
The full list of roster additions are:
- Jushin Thunder Liger
- Taiji Ishimori (IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion)
- SHO (IWGP Junior Heavyweight tag team Champion)
- YOH (IWGP Junior Heavyweight tag team Champion)
- Tiger Mask
- Shota Umino
- Ren Narita
- Will Ospreay (Never Open Weight Champion)
- The Villain Marty Scurll
- Rocky Romero
- Dragon Lee
Most of these names are all welcome additions to the roster as they were glaring errors from the original, especially wrestlers such as Will Ospreay, Marty Scurll, Liger, and Taiji Ishimori.
The Fire Pro Wrestling World Fighting Road: NJPW Junior Heavyweight Championship DLC is out on April 11th on PS4 and is available now on Steam. The trailer for the DLC interviewing Jushin Thunder Liger can be seen below:
