Originally slated to launch November 17, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will now launch November 10 alongside the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

The good news is the updated release date applies to most other platforms. That means Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be available November 10 on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Google Stadia. The game will also launch on the PlayStation 5, but Sony has yet to provide a release date for the upcoming console.

Ubisoft also confirmed the Xbox Series X version will run in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. The confirmation adds credence to Microsoft’s claims of higher-end gaming on the Xbox Series X. Although Ubisoft didn’t mention the Xbox Series S version, we assume it will perform better than the Xbox One version.

The current- and next-gen versions of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will cost $59.99 when it launches November 10. The game will take place during the ninth-century Viking raids on England and casts players as a male or female Viking clan leader.
